February Meeting Highlights
The members present were updated and informed of the club’s normal business along with an unusually long list of requests for donations from the gambling fund.
The idea of setting up a person or two to keep all the shelters stocked was discussed and a plan on caring it out was being formed.
Tom Beckel stated that the DNR had completed the reroute from the Pitt Y shelter to Country Road 1, and it would be groomed soon. The new shelter had been placed on the Floyd Olson trail.

The lake grooming crew purchased a new drag to do a better job of cutting through the hard drifts, thus making for a smoother ride.
They also staked and groomed the Rainy River from Wheelers Point to Baudette.
Heat and an outhouse was added to the Floyd Olson trail shelter recently.
The rescue/ambulance squad no longer wanted to store the rescue sled that the club had purchased. The club has moved it to Steve Welberg’s Farm/Rick & Joyce Blodgett’s yard. Ron Norquist made a very nice cover for it. You can’t miss it setting in the yard ready to be used.
